Instructions for Manuscript Submission/Presentation

This section explains the method for submitting a manuscript to The Association of Rural Planning and presenting it at the Spring/Autumn conferences.

Journal of Rural Planning Association consists of “vol.1 to vol.4” and a “special issue (essay edition).” Furthermore, academic research presentation meetings are held during the Spring and Autumn conferences.

 


Writing for The Association journal of Rural Planning (vol.1–4)

We accept contributions in the form of articles (essays) and reports with peer review or discussions without peer review at all times and for all four volumes (“vol.1–4”). Please refer to the following for further details regarding contribution rules (Japanese only).

Contributing to Journal of Rural Planning Association (special issue (essay edition)) and presenting at the Autumn Conference

Essays for the “special issue (essay edition)” are due around mid-May each year. According (Prior) to their publication, peer-reviewed articles (essays) must first be presented orally at the Autumn Conference. Please see the Autumn Conference page for further details on how to submit a contribution.

 


Presenting at the Spring Conference

Applications to the academic research presentation meeting (poster style, no peer review) held at the Spring Conference (early April) are due by early February each year. You must submit a summary of the presentation with the application. Please see the Spring Conference page for further details on how to submit a contribution.
